The Double A’er Publication
The Ford Model AA Truck Club has a yearly publication (The Double A’er) which is completed in April. Starting with the 2022 Double A’er, the publication is available in three formats – web aaer, pdf aaer, and print aaer. See the details following.
The web aaer and pdf aaer include links to additional AAFords.com site information. In addition, the Double A’er table of contents provides links to sections within the document. Larger articles contain table of contents with links. Access is at Internet AAer Options.
- web aaer – An Internet-based Double A’er starting with the 2022 Double A’er – for viewing with an Internet-browser on the display of a monitor, tablet, or mobile phone. It is available to all club member types.
- pdf aaer – A download .pdf-file Double A’er – created/formatted from the base aaer onto thirty-two 8.5″ x 11″ pages (may not contain 100% of Internet-based web AAer). This is a downloadable file to be printed by members locally. It can be used for non-Internet viewing on the display of a monitor, tablet, or mobile phone. It is available to both pdf and print aaer club member types.
- print aaer – A printed-USPS-delivered Double A’er – available to US club members. It is for type print members.
In 2005, the Double A’er was set at a 32 page publication containing mostly technical information plus many pictures. In 2012, an AA cover truck was added. This resulted in the front and rear pages being changed to cover pages. In 2017, the front and rear covers were changed to full color.
In 2022, a web aaer was established as the base Double A’er publication. From this base, both a pdf aaer and a print aaer are built.
Articles for the Double A’er are welcomed (MS Word is preferred). Email by January 1st. Ads (for sale/wanted) must be emailed by February 15th. This publication is 32 pages. Consequently, articles and ads are on a first-come first-serve basis. See email Contacts.
Technical questions are welcomed – see email Contacts. Response time depends on the research time involved. Sometimes, answers to questions result in updates to this website and/or articles in the Double A’er for all members to read.

The 1995 Double A’er is 8 pages. From 1996 thru 2004 the Double A’er issues are between 20 and 30 pages. Starting in 2005, each issue of the Double A’er is 32 pages.
